Quest'oggi condivido con voi un premio che mi è stato conferito da Rebenice di Oh No, Not Another Nail Art Blog!.., da Ere K. di Ere K.'s Beauty Shelf e da Francine di The Beauty Case.

1. Che cosa/chi ti ha incoraggiato ad iniziare a bloggare?
La prima è stata LEI, con tenacia per oltre un anno, ma devo anche ringraziare Aly e *Ky* che mi hanno spronata in modo molto più discreto. Ho iniziato per me, per tenere un diario di quell'innumerevole quantità di boccini che andava via via aumentando in camera mia.

2. Come hai scelto quale argomento trattare? 
Non è stato difficile, mi è bastato aprire l'armadio per osservare la passione di una vita.

3. Cos'è quella cosa che molte persone non sanno di te?
Onestamente, la maggior parte delle persone sa molto poco di me. Non mi scopro facilmente, per cui la maggior parte delle persone non sa chi sono veramente.

4. Quali sono le tre parole con cui descriveresti il ​​tuo stile?
Stile? Io? Non credo di avere uno stile...se non "come càpita, càpita". Sono molto lunatica, per cui posso passare dalla logorrea alla supersintesi nell'arco di 5 secondi. Per quanto riguarda il vestiario, invece, total black...con qualche sporadica punta di colore.

5. Cosa ti piace fare quando non blogghi? 
Leggo. Macino tonnellate di libri in qualsiasi lingua. Ascolto musica ad un volume osceno, oppure con le cuffie. Vado in bici oppure a correre. Faccio qualsiasi cosa che mi consenta di pensare il meno possibile. E cerco di passare del tempo con le persone che mi sono care.

Today I'm gonna share with you an award I received from Rebenice (Oh No, Not Another Nail Art Blog!..), Ere K. (Ere K.'s Beauty Shelf) and Francine (The Beauty Case).


1. What/who encouraged you to start blogging?
SHE's been the first, firmly for over a year, but I must say thanks to Aly and *Ky* too. I started to keep a memory of my nail polishes, whose number was embarassingly increasing in my room.
 
2. How did you choose what topic(s) to blog about?
It wasn't that hard: it only took me to open my wardrobe and look at a long-life passion.
 
3. Something most people don't know about you.
Well, honestly, the majority of people knows only a little of who I am. It's very difficult for me to trust someone else, so...I can say most people don't really know me. 

4. Describe your style using three words.
Style? Me? Are you sure? I don't really think I have a style, else then "take it as it is". I'm moody, I can be verbose and turn to a very concise mode in only a glance. If you mean clothing style, well...total black then, with some shoking coloured spots from time to time.

5. What do you like to do when you're not blogging?
I read. Tons of books in any language. I listen to very loud music, even using my mp3. I go biking or running. I try to do anything which prevents me to over-think and over-analyze. And I try to spend some time with my beloved people, of course.

Goodbye Google Reader...where to find me? [Update]

Tutte quante saprete che tra qualche mese Google Reader verrà è stato disabilitato, per cui vi risparmio il solito blabla.
Un valido sostituto, per chi si trovasse bene con il funzionamento di Google Reader, può essere Feedly...una piattaforma personalizzabile e praticamente identica a GR che, oltreutto, vi consente di importare il vostro elenco di lettura direttamente da Blogger.
In aggiunta, vi segnalo qui nel post altri metodi con i quali potrete continuare a seguire questo blog (e che comunque trovate già nella sidebar qui a destra).

I think everybody knows that Google Reader is shutting down in a few months is now off, so I spare yourselves the whole blabbling about.
I don't know if you're already familiar with Feedly, it is a platform very very similar to GR and it lets you import your entire bloglist directly from your Blogger account. Very useful if you're seeking for an equal option to GR.
By the way, let me remind you where to find me on the net, so that you'll be easily able to keep following me (you can find links even in the sidebar on the right).

LIEBSTER AWARD

  Per questo premio ringrazio Ere Kanezawa, *Ky*, Francine, Alice, Elenina, Gra e SilviaLace. Anche questa volta è necessario dire 11 cose che ci rappresentano, rispondere ad 11 domande e taggare 11 blog con meno di 200 followers. 

1. Adoro le scarpe alte. Non so resistere ai tacchi altissimi, siano pumps zeppe o open toes. Purché rigorosamente con plateau.

2. Ho praticato ginnastica ritmica per 12 anni e da quando ho smesso ho iniziato a soffrire di vertigini.

3. Vorrei fare il bagno nell'oceano tra gli squali. Senza gabbia. Li adoro.

4. Ho calendari ovunque, ma non li giro mai.

5. Quando ero piccola sognavo di chiudere porte e finestre e tutti gli scarichi dei lavandini per riempire la casa d'acqua e nuotarci dentro come fosse una piscina.

6. La mia migliore amica è mia nonna materna. Sembriamo gemelle separate alla nascita.

7. Ho le ciglia lunghissime. Tutti me le invidiano ed io le detesto.

8. Adoro la Scandinavia. Svezia e Finlandia soprattutto, e non solo per la musica. Sì, anche se si gela dal freddo. 

9.  Ho studiato lingue al liceo, psicologia all'università e adoro follemente tutto ciò che è calcolo e matematica.

10. In qualsiasi cosa sono tanto brava nella teoria quanto faccio pena nella pratica. Manualità meno di zero.

11. L'autostima ed io non ci siamo mai conosciute.

Per quanto riguarda le domande a cui rispondere, siccome ho ricevuto il tag da tante persone e sarebbero veramente troppe e diverse, farò un mix di 11 domande tratte qua e là.

2. Un film che riguarderesti più e più volte?

3. Il tuo motto?

4. In cosa spendi i tuoi soldi meno volentieri, bollette et similia a parte?

L'esagerazione dell'abbonamento ai mezzi pubblici qui dove vivo. Prezzi altissimi e servizio pessimo. 

5. Domanda strana... ti piace stirare?

In tutta onestà ho praticamente solo indumenti che non si stirano. In linea di massima me la cavo stendendo bene :D

6. Quali sono le tue piccole manie?

Uhm...l'unica degna di nota credo sia la tendenza ad ottimizzare. Tragitti, metodi di lavoro, cose da fare... Massimo risultato, minimo sforzo.

7. Tacchi o scarpe basse?

Tacchi. Buon header non mente!

8. Hai tatuaggi?

No. Troppa paura degli aghi per cedere, ma vorrei una fata.

9. Ti piacciono le serie televisive?
Sfortunatamente sì, tutte quelle che qui in italia non arrivano o riscuotono poco successo per cui vengono miseramente fermate.

10. Un posto in cui vorresti vivere.
Londra. L'avevo mica già detto?

11. I tuoi piatti preferiti.
Tagliatelle e gnocchi al ragù. Patate al forno. Sachertorte.

1. I love shoes. I cannot resist to high heels. Pumps, open toes or wedges....Just one note, though: platform needed.

2. I performed rhythmic gymnastics for 12 years. Once I stopped I started feeling dizzy. 

3. I'd like to bathe with sharks in the ocean. No safety cage. I've always loved sharks!

4. I placed calendars everywhere in my house, but I'm always forgetting to set them up-to-date. 

5. As a child I dreamt of sealing my entire house, fill it with water and swim in it as if it were a swimming pool. 

6. My best friend is my granny (my mother's mum). We're like twins separated at birth. 

7. I've got naturally looooooong eyelashes. Too long. Usually people find them enviable, but I personally hate them.

8. I love Scandinavian countries, Finland and Sweden above all. Not only for their great metal music bands. And yes, even if it's freezing cold over there.

9. I studied languages at school, psychology at university and I still keep on loving numbers and maths.  

10. I'm as good at any theoretical side of everything I'd like to do as I'm bad at its corresponding practical translation. Manual skills skipped me. 

11. Self-esteem and I? We've never met.

Above all for our local transport lines subscription: very high prices for a very very low service back.

5. Odd question: do you like ironing?
Well I usually choose "not iron" clothes, but honestly I try to skip ironing by pegging out smartly :D

6. Have you got any manias?
Optimization. I usually try to optimise everything. Routes, things to do, working tasks.... Maximun result, minimum effort.

7. Heels or flats? 
Heels, heels and heels again. Even my header states so.

8. Have you got any tattoos?
Aww, unfortunately no. I'm deeply afraid of needles! But I'd like a fairy.

9. Do you like TV series?
Unfortunately yes. I'm in love especially with foreign series or with TV series suddenly stopped because of a lack of audience. 

10. A place you'd like to live in.
London. Did I already tell you? :D

11. Your favourite food.

  Per questo premio devo ringraziare Irina @ Zebra-Nails che mi ha nominata! Si tratta di un premio riservato ai blog di nuova nascita e con meno di 200 iscritti. Anche questa volta le regole sono molto facili: si tratta di rispondere alle domande poste, nominare altri 20 blog ai quali porre altre 11 domande. Visto che molte domande sono simili a quelle cui ho già risposto in altri tag, ho deciso di accorpare il tutto in un post unico.

1. Come mai hai iniziato a bloggare?

Inizialmente per tenere un diario su tutti i boccini che hanno iniziato ad accumularsi nei miei armadi.

2. Quali sono le tue tecniche nail art preferite?

Anzitutto devo ammettere di non essere per nulla in grado di realizzare nail art. Almeno, non come vorrei. Devo far pratica ed imparare. Ad ogni modo le mie tecniche preferite sono la watermarble e la one stroke. Cose semplici, insomma!

3. Da quanto tempo blogghi?

Ho avuto diversi blog in precedenza, il primo su Splinder ancora ai tempi del liceo. Questo blog è stato aperto diverso tempo fa, ho scritto il primo post a Novembre 2012 ed ho iniziato a scrivere stabilmente da Gennaio 2013.

4. Che cosa ti piace di più dell'avere un blog?

Il fatto che questo blog mi abbia dato modo di conoscere molte altre persone con cui condividere la mia passione per gli smalti, e non solo quella.

5. Qualcosa di unico su di te?

Sono una contraddizione ambulante. In me coesistono in modo pacifico ed in armonia millemilioni di opposti.

6. La tua vacanza ideale?

Una spiaggia deserta e soleggiata in un posto caldo. Ovviamente solo andata!

7. Se postessi essere un qualsiasi personaggio storico, chi vorresti essere?

Mh. Questa è una domanda difficile per me, a scuola storia non mi è mai piaciuta. Non lo so proprio! Passo!

8. Che lavoro fai?/Cosa studi?

Lavoro per una casa editrice.

9. Qual è il tuo cibo preferito?

10. Una cosa che ti dà fastidio?

Il mio paese. Praticamente tutto del mio paese.

11. Il tuo programma TV preferito?

E' difficile che guardi la tv, ma quando capita mi piace molto guardare lo show di David Letterman.

1. Why did you start blogging?
I decided to open a blog to take note of every single nail polish I owned. Then they started incredibly to increase...so, here I am.

2. What is your favourite style of nail art?
First of all I must say I'm not at all good at nail art. I must practice and improve. I do really love watermarbles and one-strokes, though. Easy ones :D

3. How long have you been blogging?
My first Splinder blog dates back to 2000 during my school years. I opened this blog some years ago, I've written my first post last November and I've started writing regularly since last January.

4. What is your favourite aspect of running a blog?
This blog's giving me the opportunity to meet many other nice people sharing my passion for nail polish, and not only for polishes.

5. What is something unique about you?
I'm a living contradiction. Many opposites coexist in me without any problem, in perfect harmony.

6. Where is your favourite vacation destination?
A warm -better hot- sunny desert beach. No return, of course!

7. If you could be anyone from history, who would you be?
Uhm. Difficult to say. Honestly I didn't like history at all while at school. I don't know!

8. What do you do for work?/Where do you go to school?
I'm an employee at a publishing house.

Everything in my country.

  Un grazie enorme alla gentilissima Simona di Beauty A Portar Via per questo premio e per quello che significa. Insomma, non è mica da poco! Ho da poco iniziato quest'avventura più che altro per tenere una traccia (e far finta di dar loro uno scopo) di tutti quei boccini che sono andati via via moltiplicandosi nel tempo. Ho conosciuto diverse persone con le quali condividere questa passione (e non solo questa!) ed è un viaggio che mi sta regalando molto. Per cui grazie a tutte voi che continuate a passare di qui e... alla prossima fermata!

I recently decided to start my blog-adventure mostly to trace all the bottles I've got (and I keep on buying!) and try to give them a sense.   Innanzitutto grazie a: Simona,  Ere Kanezawa e Francine per avermi assegnato questo premio! Le regole sono molto semplici:

1. Sono follemente e perdutamente innamorata di Londra. L'ho sempre avuta nel cuore, ancora prima di andarci per la prima volta millenni fa. E' l'unico posto sul pianeta in cui mi senta veramente a casa. 

2. Adoro il silenzio. Oltremodo. Ne ho necessità. E mi rilassa. Per contro, detesto il rumore. Oltremodo.

3. Sono una divoratrice di libri. Fantasy, soprattutto. Ma anche thriller/gialli. Tempo medio 2-3 giorni. E guai a chi osa disturbarmi mentre leggo. Divento una iena.

4. Adoro le moto. Le moto sportive. E la velocità. In compenso ho paura di guidare l'auto. 

5. Sono fanatica delle macro. La mia visione ideale del mondo è dietro un'ottica macro. I dettagli, le piccole cose. In tutto, non solo nelle foto. 

6. Ho freddo. Ho sempre freddo. La mia temperatura ideale è sopra i 27°C. Ne consegue che sto bene solo quel mese all'anno quando si schiatta di caldo, e possibilmente se sdraiata su una spiaggia (deserta so che sarebbe chiedere troppo).

7. Ho un rapporto simbiotico con la musica. Non riesco a farne a meno.

1. I'm desperately and deeply in love with London. I've always loved this town, it's an innate love. And London is the only place on earth I can call home. I'm at home, when I'm there.

2. I love silence. Desperately. I need silence around me. It helps me to relax. On the other hand I extremely hate noise. 

3. I'm a bookeater. Fantasy above all, but I like thrillers and crime novels too. 2 to 3 days average to finish a book. And don't dare disturb me while I'm reading... this makes me bloody furious. 

4. I love motorbikes. Supersport motorbikes. I love speed. But I'm afraid of driving a car.

5. I'm a macroaholic. In the outside I usually watch the world behind a macro lens. My ideal world should be behind a macro lens. Details are the key, not only in photography. 

6. I'm usually cold. My ideal temperature is from 27°C up. My ideal place should be on a beach, sunbathing, with no one else around me (Am I asking too much? :D)

7. I cannot help having music in my ears. I need music. Music and me: symbiosis.

    Et-voilà! Rieccomi! Innanzitutto buon anno a tutte!
Scusate la lunga assenza, non mi sono dimenticata di voi. Anzi!
E' solo che -da accurata versione ambulante della sfiga fantozziana mista alla persecuzione di Murphy- il mio caro, compianto, fedele computer di una vita ha deciso di accogliere il battesimo del mio blog morendo miseramente. Per cui ho affrontato un lungo periodo di disintossicazione tecnologica fino all'acquisto di un nuovo mezzo. Ahimé l'altro non aveva chances di recupero.

Vi preannuncio che a breve si apriranno le danze smaltifere con una bellissima iniziativa, per cui potrete rifarvi gli occhi con tanto ma tanto colore -anche per ravvivare un po' gli animi in questo inverno anomalo-.

Per il momento vorrei ampliare il capitolo della ...andthatswhoiam. saga (pioneristicamente iniziata da Nihrida, seguida da Ivana e da MaiSenzaSmalto e da chissà quanti altri) aggiungendo anche qualcosa di me. Visto che siamo agli inizi è anche un modo alternativo per scoprire chi è che scrive.

    Here I am again! First of all, I'd like to wish you all a happy new year!
I beg you to pardon me If I've been missing lately, but my OldFellowDesktop decided to pass away immediately after my first post, so I spent the whole last month without any possibility to blog.

This is a little spoiler I'm making: you will soon see here a very huge amount of colours! I've joined in a very nice colourful nail polish adventure with some other nailmates just to juice this winter up. Am I forgiven for my lack of posts? :-)

Now I'd like to add my chapter to the ...andthatswhoiam. saga (started by Nihrida and followed by Ivana and MaiSenzaSmalto and who knows how many others). Since I'm at the very beginning of my blog-adventure I thought it would be a nice different way to know something more about who's writing here. And you? Just drop me a line about you, if you wish.
